The number of people trying to earn residual income on the Internet is staggering. Why are so many people failing at that elusive goal to earn residual income with which they can retire on?

The number one reason most people fail to earn residual income is because they lack the patience to build a residual income. By its very definition, residual income comes in over a period of time and is not a lump sum payment. Of course most of these people signed up with Mr Guru……..they had a prior relationship and he was the expert.

Most of us don’t have this advantage when we first start out trying to earn residual income. That’s OK……but remember it will take some time to emulate Mr Guru.

Most people will succeed if they just don’t quit. Make sure that you join a reputable business opoportunity. If possible the company you associate with should be at least 5 years old. As I am sure you know, most companies fail in the first 5 years. When searched for the term: make money online in the Overture Good Keywords software, it monthly shows an increased number of internet users looking for that term.

Last month over 45000 searches were performed for ‘make money online’ and there is a big chance that all these users are newbies trying to find their fortune.

When I started on the net about 8 years ago, I was told that everything was free. That made it all so exciting. Trying to find that ‘tap’ that was turned on and had golden coins running out of it. All you had to do was holding your bucket under it and have it filled up again and again and again.

Let me tell you that I have really intensively searched for that tap but unfortunately never found it. It just doesn’t exist and instead on concentrating on only one formula for making money online (and succeed at it), too many are still hopping around in search for the free pot of gold.

Now there is a lot of free stuff available on the net but most of it is just crap. There is no such thing as a free lunch - all good stuff costs money.

I have been there and done it all. I now am making money online and I must say: comfortably. When I say comfortably, I mean earning between $5000 and $8000 per week, depending on my the number of sales I make. And it is 95% automated. I only spend an hour or so on the net per day and the rest of the day I do what I want to do. Not what I HAVE to do, like working for a boss.
